Our team brings together decades of experience in international tax, including backgrounds at the Dutch tax authorities, the Ministry of Finance and top-tier law firms. We work in small teams who take responsibility for the entire process, and stay closely involved throughout. You’ll find no layers or flashy titles here, just people who understand complex tax issues and take the time to handle them properly.

Carla Vaz - Office manager

Carla ensures the smooth daily operation of our office and supports both clients and team members behind the scenes.

Marie Oudemans - International tax counsel

Marie advises multinational clients on cross-border structuring, repatriation planning, M&A, financing, and tax controversy. Her focus includes the US and German markets.

Marc Zaal - Transfer pricing consultant

Marc advises on transfer pricing documentation and brings broad international experience across various industries. He supports clients with both interim and long-term needs.

Michiel Suijker - Partner

Michiel works directly with clients and helps shape the firm’s approach. He advises on corporate income tax, reorganisations, and transfer pricing, and also lectures at the University of Amsterdam.

Paul Sleurink - Senior M&A and international tax counsel

Paul has a transaction-driven practice, focusing on M&A, international structuring, and financing. He also has experience as an expert witness before the US Tax Court.

Weimin Feng- China desk

Weimin connects Chinese clients with the Dutch business environment and supports tax compliance as well as broader professional services.

Willem Otterspeer - Partner

Willem is the founder of OHP and a highly experienced Dutch tax advisor. He advises multinational and privately held companies on corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, and Dutch tax audits.

Willem has worked in international tax for over three decades. He brings calm, structure and perspective to complex issues. Over the years, he has advised on a wide range of cross-border matters, from shipping and M&A to royalty structures and litigation. He stays closely involved with both clients and colleagues, always with a clear eye for what matters most.

Michiel is part of the new generation at OHP. Technically strong, analytically sharp and fully involved from start to finish. Our history

OHP has been advising on international tax matters for decades. Our experience spans multiple market cycles, changes in legislation, and the evolution of global business. Here’s how we’ve grown into the firm we are today.

1994 – Founding of OHP in Rotterdam, specialising in international tax for corporate clients and private individuals.

2001 – Expansion of cross-border structuring services, with increasing focus on compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

2020 – Marc Zaal joins OHP, bringing specialized expertise in transfer pricing to strengthen our international tax advisory capabilities.

2024 – OHP implements AI to enhance our analytical capabilities and deliver faster, more precise international tax advice to clients.

2025 – Paul Sleurink and Marie Oudemans join the team of counsel with diverse experience in M&A, transfer pricing, and international tax. OHP moves to new offices at 't Westerkadehuys.
